Cause and Affect Marketing

Submitted by Mitch Seigel on Tues, 5/29/2012

Currently there are countless non-profit organizations that have run up against a wall in trying to secure funds for future projects and sustainability. It is so unfortunate because most are worthwhile causes and need to keep moving forward.

This provides a great opportunity for many thriving and growing businesses, to continue their momentum by helping these causes stay active and fruitful. It is a little extra work and may need some midnight oil burnt, but is way worth the effort.

What are the goals of your company? What are the goals of the non-profit organizations in your area? Find one or two that match. Align them with your company and you have associations worth developing.

Causes open many doors by allowing your company to reach out to media and sponsors in a different way, from a new perspective. Your support of the cause will provide exposure and new business development for your business. At the end of the day your company will be up on a pedestal for taking the action of getting involved with the selected non-profit organization.

What are you waiting for? The quicker you take action, the quicker the cause will positively affect your business. What are your challenges when it comes to cause marketing? I look forward to hearing your comments. Until next time …
